The small temple to the right of the entrance held a bell donated to the Monastery by the Manchu emperor Yung Chen.

 

This is apparently the bell donated by Yung Chen

 

The second entrance to the monastery which contains the Four Gardians, a standard feature of Tibeto-Mongolian monasteries.

Inside the second entrance-way, in front of the main temple, are two pavilions containing stone tablets with inscriptions describing why the monastery was built.
